The tasting menu was an absolute highlight, offering a delightful variety of innovative dishes that left us both amazed and satisfied. “ We went here for a date night on a Saturday. When we checked in our table was ready and the layout of the restaurant was quite interesting with walking past the kitchen and wine cellar to get to the dining room. Service was great for the most part. There were a few snags like being served bread and then getting my plate taken from me to be placed somewhere else on the table because appetizers were starting. Not sure if this is a fine dining thing but I was in the middle of buttering my bread. The serving place was wonderful and I never felt rushed. The seafood dishes were definitely stronger then the meat courses. My overall favorites of the night include the amazing crab souffle with uni and the sturgeon. My husband doesn't like fish and enjoyed this dish, which says a lot. The per my last email milk lunch cocktail was delicious and I'd recommend trying. The desserts were nice as well, I'm a big fan of their chocolate bombe with coffee bubbles. Overall it was a nice meal but I wasn't a fan of the two meat courses and I feel at this price point every dish should land. This restaurant is in downtown Saratoga so just be aware if you have a late dinner here there's not much to do in the area before or after. ”

“ Went on a Wednesday night for a celebration. Staff was courteous, wished us a happy anniversary on several occasions. The food was delicious, the food presentation was great. We tried the chanterelle mushroom tart, the signature souffle, the ribeye steak (medium rare) and went for the granny smith, and basque cheesecake. Sebastian took care of us for the evening and was very nice, professional and kind. We loved our experience and we will definitely come back again. ”

“ Phenomenal experience at a Michelin starred restaurant - service is superb and exactly what you would expect at a restaurant of this caliber. We opted for the chef's tasting menu, and it certainly did not disappoint! The caviar was fantastic, and the soufflé was one of my favorite courses, pairing wonderfully with the Dungeness crab and uni fondue. There is an upgrade option for the A5 Miyazaki, which we opted for, and our medium rare cuts of meat just melted in our mouth. Cheeky and tasty desserts as well. We celebrated our anniversary here, and received a complimentary glass of champagne to close out our meal. Definitely worth the splurge if you are celebrating something special. ”

“ My return to this Michelin-starred Saratoga restaurant, this time with my parents. It's very much a restaurant for them rather than for me; it is very classic, traditional, with little in terms of surprise. It works wonderfully, and it's exactly what you expect. Service is flawless, though the room could have two fewer tables (at times, servers had to reach over the table). And the food is exactly what you expect - French, with some California influence. Overall excellent... but just what it is. ”
